WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT POLICY?

NON-HOLIDAY BOOKINGS

We require a refundable 1-night stay deposit taken at the time of booking. Full payment is taken upon arrival.

HOLIDAY BOOKINGS

We require a non-refundable 1-night stay deposit taken at the time of booking. On December 1, 2024, balance in full will be charged to the credit card on file, and reservation will become non-refundable.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

NON-HOLIDAY CANCELLATIONS

There is a 24 hour grace period for all reservations made at least 72 hours prior to arrival. The reservation may be canceled within the 24 hour grace period with no penalty and full refund of deposit. For reservations made within 72 hours of arrival, the grace period does not apply.

Once the 24 hour grace period has expired, cancellation policy is 7 days prior to arrival, to avoid forfeiture of 1st night deposit. For Specialty Suites (Honeymoon, Presidential, and Black Diamond), the policy is 14 days prior to arrival.

HOLIDAY CANCELLATIONS

There is a 24 hour grace period for all reservations made at least 72 hours prior to arrival. The reservation may be cancelled within the 24 hour grace period with no penalty and full refund of deposit. For reservations made within 72 hours of arrival, the grace period does not apply. Once the 24 hour grace period has expired, all one night deposits for holiday timeframes are non-refundable. Any cancellations will result in a forfeiture of the 1 night deposit.  Modifications must be made prior to December 1, 2024. On December 1, balance in full will be charged to the credit card on file and the reservation will become non-refundable. Reservations made after December 1, 2024 for the holiday timeframe will be charged in full at the time of booking and will be non-refundable, once the 24 our grace period has expired.

NON-REFUNDABLE PROMOTIONS

Non-Refundable Promotions are 100% non-refundable for any reason, once the 24 hour grace period has expired.

WHAT IS THE INCIDENTAL DEPOSIT POLICY?

Upon check-in, all guests will be charged remaining balance of their stay and $1 per night incidental deposit. This deposit can only be held via credit card, as cash is not accepted for the incidental deposit. Upon checkout, any funds not used towards incidentals or payments will be released.

HOW MUCH IS THE DAILY RESORT FEE AND WHATS INCLUDED?

Our nightly Resort Amenities Fee is $25+tax (includes daily breakfast, WIFI, family game room, fitness room, seasonal BBQ rentals, and weekly guest activities).

WHAT HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE?

Forest Suites offers a mid-stay housekeeping service for reservations of 4+ nights. This mid-stay service will consist of a bedding linen change, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, and basic dusting and vacuuming as needed.

For reservations of less than 4 nights, guests are welcome to call for delivery of necessary items such as coffee and toiletry refreshment, trash disposal, and trash bag replacement.

DO YOU OFFER BREAKFAST?

Yes! Breakfast is included in your stay and available daily, 7am - 10am.

Offering a full American-style breakfast buffet, complete with eggs, bacon or sausage, a variety of breads & sweets, fresh fruit, yogurts and daily specials.

Seating is available in our dining room, bar area & main lobby, as well as to-go options for those that prefer to dine in their room.

WHERE DO I PARK?

Effective March 1st, 2024 a parking fee of $20/night will be required for each vehicle parking on property for stays beginning July 1st onward. Self parking is available to all overnight guests with a valid parking pass.

Please note that our parking facilities have limited capacity. Therefore, we encourage guests to carpool whenever possible to optimize parking availability and minimize environmental impact.

Come early & stay late! If you're arrive before check-in time, you are welcome to park and enjoy the surrounding area prior to getting you keys. And on the day of your departure, your parking fee allows you to leave your car until 4pm.

DO YOU HAVE ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS?

Yes! Our electric vehicle charging stations are located behind the Lobby building. We offer 4 L2 stations.

Starting fee is $3.00 and then $.38/.33 per KW. Hotel guests are able to leave their car from 10pm - 8am as a courtesy with no overnight fee.

DOES THE RESORT HAVE A RESTAURANT?

While Breakfast is included in each stay, Forest Suites Resort does not offer a restaurant on-site. However, many dining options are available within very short walking distance.

DOES THE RESORT HAVE A GYM?

Yes, our Fitness Center is open from 7am to 10pm and offers a variety of cardio machines and free weights.

DOES THE RESORT OFFER LAUNDRY SERVICE?

Forest Suites Resort has several coin operated, self use laundry facilities on site. Laundry detergent is available for purchase at the Front Desk.

IS THE RESORT DOG FRIENDLY?

Yes, Forest Suites Resort is dog friendly! For an additioanl $50/night, bring up to 2 of your furry pup friends and enjoy your suite in our Dog Friendly building, with easy access to our designated "Dog Area".

We do not allow dogs in our Specialty Suites or Poolside Suites, due to Health Regulations.

IS THE RESORT NON SMOKING?

Yes. Forest Suites Resort is a nonsmoking property. Smoking of any kind is not permitted in our units or within 20 feet of door and entryways. Smoking is permitted in certain areas of the Resort, and are denoted with a Cigarette Disposal sign and container.

DOES THE RESORT HAVE A POOL?

Yes! We offer two outdoor pools, heated to 80 degrees, open from May 1st - Novmeber 1st. Our two outdoor jacuzzi spas are open year round.

DOES THE RESORT HAVE QUIET HOURS?

Yes. The city of South Lake Tahoe has a 10pm sound ordinance enforced for all hotels & resorts. Guests of the resort must begin to quiet down their evening at this time.

DOES THE RESORT OFFER ROLLAWAY BEDS OR CRIBS?

Yes, rollaway beds and cribs are available. You can request these items by calling Guest Services at 800-822-5950.

Cribs are free of charge and based on availability.

Rollaways are $15 per night before tax, are based on availability, are not available in the standard Hotel Rooms, and only one rollaway is permitted per Suite, per Fire Marshal Regulations.

HOW CLOSE IS HEAVENLY VILLAGE AND THE HEAVENLY GONDOLA?

Heavenly Village is located directly behind Forest Suites Resort, and is only a few minutes walk. The Heavenly Gondola is located in the center of Heavenly Village. Please visit Ski Heavenly for more information on Heavenly Village and Heavenly Mountain.
